“Above all, trust in the slow work of God.”
Merry Christmas from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Ministry with Lesbian and Gay Catholics (MLGC)!
As we experience the emotions of the Christmas season, and as we reflect on the year past and prepare for the year to come, these words (see below) of Fr. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, SJ can bring us hope and joy in how God is working in each of us and in our Church and our world. [...]

MLGC Day of Retreat
Archdiocese Ministry with Lesbian and Gay Catholics (MLGC)
Saturday, February 5th
10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Hosted by St. Camillus Center for Pastoral Care
1911 Zonal Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90033
YOU ARE INVITED to join other lesbian and gay Catholics, parents, and supporters for a spiritual day of retreat.
Whether you are a member of one of the ministries to lesbian and gay Catholics throughout the archdiocese, or you were not aware that these ministries exist—ALL ARE WELCOME!!
In the Church’s Scriptures for February 5th, Jesus tells us to “Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest awhile.† Far be it from us to disobey the words of Jesus!  So come to St. Camillus where you will find a place for prayer and community.  We will close the day with an opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation with a priest who will listen with compassion, and a celebration of Mass.
And bring a friend who needs renewal and this face of the Catholic Church which we hope witnesses to Christ’s love for all of us.
We ask you to bring a dish or drink to share if possible.
For more information, or to offer your service as an additional priest for Reconciliation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
** The MLGC Anniversary Mass and Reception have been rescheduled to accommodate Cardinal Mahony’s schedule.  More information will be coming shortly. Thank you for your understanding.
